JULIE DUCHESNE, PARTNER
Health Business Leader for Canada, Mercer Canada
Mercer Canada Julie Duchesne is Mercer’s Health business leader for Quebec. In addition to expanding the Employee Health & Benefits business, her role is to convey the team’s strategic vision within Mercer and its market.
Julie has 20 years of group benefits consulting experience. She has extensive experience in the design, funding of both traditional and flexible employee benefits plans as well as post-retirement benefits. In recent years, Julie has made a significant contribution to the expansion of the Health business through her vision, consulting services and team leadership. She has also been an active member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Pension and Benefits Institute (CPBI) for over three years.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Sciences from Concordia University. She is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
BRIAN LINDENBERG, SENIOR PARTNER
Strategist Leader, Health Business, Mercer Canada
Brian Lindenberg is Mercer Canada’s Health Chief Strategist and a Senior Partner in Mercer’s Calgary office. As Senior Consultant and Client Manager, Brian focuses his efforts on helping articulate and shape the future of the Canadian benefits landscape—to ensure Mercer’s clients fully leverage the opportunities that exist within the rapidly changing benefits environment. With his unique perspective on the changing health vendor landscape and how plan sponsors can leverage technology to deliver added value, Brian is regularly sought out for his strategic advice in helping clients to develop a long term, sustainable approach to their benefit plan arrangements.
