Investing in a brighter future
...it’s a matter of time

Mercer’s 2020 Vision: Themes and Opportunities highlights the actions investors can consider to better protect portfolios in adverse environments or to capitalize on emerging trends. Our Global Investment Forums 2020 reflect on these themes in the context of the current economic environment and highlight where we think opportunities exist to help position portfolios for a brighter future. Investors need to be clear on their timeframe, be prepared for business as unusual and position for climate change.

The question is not whether current economic, political, social and environmental trends will impact portfolios, but rather how and when. It’s a matter of time.

We will be delivering the Chicago Forum this year as a virtual event.

The challenges of the time present us with an opportunity to come to your safe space via virtual conferencing.  In embracing this new format, the Forum is able to connect together asset owners, asset managers and Mercer investment consultants, researchers and portfolio managers around the globe for a more robust learning and sharing experience.

In addition to the plenary and breakout sessions, the agenda includes Learn, Share and Connect (LSC) sessions, which are asset manager-led presentations on investment strategies, trends that are creating opportunities or threats for clients, and other ideas innovations. Interested asset owners can sign up to attend any of these LSC sessions that will take place over the course of three days, 26-28 October (US Central Daylight Time) . Mercer investment specialists will be attending these sessions.

Here is a snapshot of the three-day agenda. Because it’s virtual, you have the flexibility to choose the sessions you attend. For the full agenda, please click here.
