      Sébastien Naud is a Principal in Mercer's Wealth business and the Québec City Office Leader. He joined Mercer in 2003 in Montréal and moved to Québec City in 2011.

      Sébastien specializes in defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans. In addition to corporate clients, he advises endowments, foundations and not-for-profit organizations. He provides advice and services related to the design and management of retirement plans.

      F. Hubert Tremblay is a Principal in the Wealth business. He joined Mercer in 1999. He works as an actuary, a retirement consultant and a relationship manager with clients of various sizes and that operate in a range of industries such as transportation, research, consulting and industrial products. His clients sponsor pension plans registered at the federal level as well as in Quebec and Ontario. Hubert collaborates in all aspects related to pension plans, such as funding, accounting, design, union negotiations, risk management, governance and administration. He chairs the planning committee for the National Conference of the Association of Canadian Pension Management (ACPM), which will be held in Quebec City in 2018.

      Hubert graduated from Université Laval with a degree in Actuarial Sciences. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

      Hubert is interested in public retirement policy and regularly participates in Mercer public positionings and events.

      Stéphanie Mariamo is a Principal in Mercer’s Wealth business in Montreal. As a specialist in capital accumulation plans, Stéphanie consults to her clients on all aspects related to this type of plan, including design, governance and investments. She has an excellent understanding of members’ needs and has developed solid competencies in employee communications. Also, as part of her current responsibilities, Stéphanie regularly participates in internal and external focus groups for the purpose of promoting innovation and the development of best practices related to accumulation plans. Before joining Mercer in 2015, Stéphanie was an actuarial consultant in the area of defined benefit pension plans, which allowed her to acquire expertise in pension management.

      Gilles Lavoie is a Wealth Principal focusing on investment matters in our Montreal office. He recently joined Mercer after spending more than 21 years with another global consulting firm. Gilles started his career in NYC, working for foreign operations of large US multinationals before transferring to Montreal to focus on investment consulting.

      He acts as lead investment consultant for many Canadian and multinational clients, ranging from a few millions to several billions of assets under advisement. Working jointly with institutional investors he aims to optimize the management of various pools of assets ranging from pension funds (DB and DC), insurance funds, endowments as well as taxable investors.
      His expertize covers the full gamut of investment consulting services, including:

      • Financial risk management.
      • Asset/liability studies.
      • Development of investment policies and strategies, including LDI strategies and alternative investments.
      • Design and implementation of manager structures and performance monitoring.

      Gilles has a B. Sc. Degree in actuarial science for l’Université Laval and he is an associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA). He is completely bilingual (French and English).
