      Gwyneth has been with Mercer since 2001 and is the London Office Business Leader for Health. Prior to joining Mercer, Gwyneth worked as a Human Resource practitioner with several private sector employers. At Mercer, Gwyneth is involved with a variety of client service teams with responsibilities ranging from strategic design of group benefit plan arrangements, to plan marketing and implementation, financial analysis of plan performance and benchmarking surveys. She has a strong interest in flexible benefit plan design and employee communication.

      Mike Labute is a Partner with Mercer Canada and manages our London, Ontario office.

      Since joining Mercer in 1981, Mike has become involved in all aspects of the firm’s pension business and is currently the relationship manager, consultant and lead actuary for a number of clients in a variety of industries in Southwestern Ontario. He advises his clients on the design, administration, accounting and funding of their pension plans.

      Michael provides advice and service to clients who operate in both unionized and non-unionized environments. He has direct experience advising pension committees and helping with pension issues that arise with his unionized clients during the collective bargaining process.

      Hrvoje Lakota is a Principal in the Toronto office of Mercer’s Wealth business. Hrvoje joined Mercer's Retirement Risk & Finance business in Toronto in 1997. In that role, he provided retirement consulting services to a spectrum of Mercer clients on all aspects of pension plan design, administration, funding and accounting. His clients included utilities, financial services companies, and universities. He was also the leader of the Canadian Funding Specialists Group from 2008 to 2011 and was the leader of the Canadian Defined Benefit Risk Group from 2010 to 2011. Starting in 2010, Hrvoje was involved with the development and launch of Mercer's Dynamic De-risking Solution in Canada. In July of 2011, he transferred from the Retirement Risk & Finance business to the Investment business to take on the role of Head Strategist, Dynamic De-Risking Solutions.

      Hrvoje is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and has been a CFA Charterholder since September 2010. He graduated with Honours from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science in 1997.
