Heather Nairn has been the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for Mercer Canada since 2015. As CMO, Heather drives Mercer Canada’s marketing strategy and execution, which includes digital marketing, public relations, sponsorship and communication services. Her expertise is central to driving business results and enhancing Mercer Canada’s brand. She is passionate about marketing and strives to take Mercer Canada into the future with enhanced digital utilization, data collection and analyses and demand generation techniques that strategically fuel growth.
Heather has had a very successful and rewarding career as a business-to-business (B2B) marketer and product management leader for over 25 years. Following her 16-year career at American Express Canada, Heather then moved to a role leading marketing and product management at ADP Canada, followed by a global marketing and product management position at Pitney Bowes leading digital solutions for the small business client segment.
Heather is an inaugural member of the Marketing Management Program Advisory Council at Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University. She has supported a number of non-profit organizations over the years, including the Meals on Wheels Food Program, the Compassionate Canine Program, and the United Way.
Heather graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She has also completed the Executive Strategic Leadership Program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
